PALM BEACH INT’L RACEWAY
“WINTER TESTING”

There were several NHRA teams out to test at Palm Beach International Raceway for this years invitation only Test Session. The track proved to have excellent traction which resulted in high 3 second ET’s and 300 mph charges. Alan Johnson’s new Al-Anabi team made its’ debut with Top Fuel driver Larry Dixon and Funny Car pilot Del Worsham. Also on hand were Tony Schumacher, Cory McClenathan, Tim Wilkerson, Bob Tasca III, Ron Capps, Jack Beckman, Matt Hagan, and Jeff Arend. Rickie Smith, Shannon Jenkins, and Burton Auxier was also there making some shakedown passes in their Pro Mods. All of the drivers, crew chiefs, and owners seemed to be enjoying themselves in the 80 degree January temperatures.
