“SPRING NITRO TESTING”

Nitromethane powered racing was the order of the day as 1 Top Fuel Dragster and 3 Funny Cars were on hand to test out and refine engine/chassis combinations at Palm Beach International Raceway. Team owner Don Schumacher brought down Cory McClenathan in the FRAM TF Dragster, current points leader Ron Capps and Matt Hagan both in Dodge Charger R/T’s. Jeff Arend and the Team Kalitta Racing Toyota Solara rounded out the program. 70-80 degree March temperatures kept the crew chiefs on their games and since there is no curfew at Palm Beach International Raceway the teams ran from 10 am to 10 pm.
